Hi! If you’ve made it this far, I’d like to officially thank you for checking out my page!

My name is Katrina and I am so excited to have you here at The Language Teacher 🙂

To get us started, I thought I would personally introduce myself by answering a few fun questions about myself:

1. What’s your favorite way to relax after a long day?

For me, it’s a good cup of hot chocolate in the evening or some trash TV.

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I had always dreamed of living in Colombia after meeting some of the most amazing people from there. However, now I feel this is maybe too far away from family. I would happily settle for a quiet life in Spain- somewhere by the coast.

3. What’s one thing on your bucket list that you haven’t done yet?

I’m not great with heights, but I would love to conquer my fears and jump from an airplane!

4. If you weren’t a language teacher, what would you be doing?

I am very sociable and very much a people person, so I believe I would be good at working in Public Resources or Human Resources.

5. What’s your secret talent or something surprising about you?

If you know me well, it’s no secret but my hobby is Irish Dancing (yes, Michael Flatley style!) and I am currently the Senior World Over 32’s Champion 🙂

6. What’s your favorite part about teaching English?

My favorite part of teaching English is seeing my students grow in confidence with each class. Taking risks and trying out new vocabulary and structures makes me so happy!
